Hope Unlimited Pot Luck Dinner November 5th@7pm

Greetings to my fellow medical cannabis patients, friends, and family! HopePot Luck is Thursday Nobember 5th at 7pm.
6070 Mount Alifan Fourth Floor
In order for the meeting to function and be an environment of healing, it is more important than ever we medical cannabis patients remember to treat each other with kindness and respect. We are building an informed, caring community of medical patients. We are helping to support each other as we go through the ups and downs of life. This isn't about money, or status. This is about healing and remembering that we are not alone on this journey! There are other patients who care and want to hear your story.
Let us remember that the core purpose of the group is to provide a safe place for medical cannabis patients to learn from each other.
Let nothing get in the way of our healing!
We deserve a friendly place to be ourselves and share openly and honestly what we are going through.
It is ok to be yourself at Hope!
Please bring extra chairs if you have them just in case. Any hope members that have an extra folding table (card table) please let the group know.
All are welcome at the Hope Support Pot-Luck Dinner
Bring a dish of food to share with the group. If everyone brings something to eat we can have a big feast. Even a bag of chips or a 2 Liter of soda is an item.
I know we have a few chefs in the group!
The Hope Group strives to create an environment of healing and tolerance. Together we can help each other learn and grow.
The last hope meeting really helped me in many ways. .
Share your experience and give your personal input, meet other patients, growers, caregivers, friends and family of the San Diego medical cannabis community!

This is a relaxed, "chill" place, to make new friends, share your story with others who care and want to listen, and learn about San Diego cannabis politics.

Anyone with an IPOD or MP3 player with some Reggae, Chill Marley music please bring we can hook it up to some speakers we have!
The Hope Group could use some chill music to help us socialize and make new friends.

Onsite medicaing is allowed for medical patients. There will be an area where patients may use their medication. Please be responsible with your cannabis use.
Please bring your Dr.'s Recommendation with you for your protection as well as the group.

Although we do practice free speech, and may refer you to a cannabis club, WE ARE NOT A DISPENSARY, OR A DISTRIBUTION CENTER!
Strain identification class. Learn more about what types of medical cannabis may work for your condition!

Please keep these ten guidelines in mind when attending a Hope Unlimited support group:

  1. Hope Unlimited provides a safe environment where you can share thoughts and feelings.
  2. Everything is confidential—what’s said in the group stays in the group.
  3. Always remember to display kindness, courtesy and consideration for your fellow group members.
  4. Don’t interrupt when others are speaking.
  5. Give everyone a chance to talk.
  6. Shut off all cell phones and pagers during the group.
  7. We are all doing the best we can with the tools we have. Some of us our sicker than others.
  8. Speak in reference to yourself; i.e.- “what works for me.”
  9. Nobody has to share. It is totally cool to just come and absorb the good energy.
  10. Support each other by sharing experiences.

Benefits of attending a Hope Unlimited Support group Meeting:

  • Provide a forum for mutual acceptance, understanding, and self-discovery.
  • Offer an opportunity to reach out to others and benefit from the experience of those who have “been there”.
  • Help those attending understand that a disease/chronic medical condition does not define who we are.
  • Motivate attendees to follow treatment plans.
  • Create a group that can make a difference in your community, maybe even save a life.
  • Offer the consumer’s perspective to legislators and the local medical community.
  • Remind ourselves that health and healing is possible!
